AFDA Convention is Back!

Registration is now open for our 2022 Annual AFDA Convention to be held at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on April 29. You may register online (click here) or use the attached form and mail to AFDA, 523 South Louisiana Street, Suite 222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201. Full registration is $150.00; guests for dinner only is $75.00, and Day at the Races is $60.00.

We will have the Annual Association Business Meeting, Continuing Education opportunities, and the Awards Dinner held in the evening. Also, there will be time to visit with the Sales Club members. They have been so supportive and helpful to all of us during these two years of Covid and we are so thankful for them.

Dr. Frank Peretti will be our keynote speaker for continuing education opportunities. Dr. Peretti recently retired from the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory in Little Rock and has entered into private practice. Dr. Peretti has been the Associate Medical Examiner at the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory in Little Rock since 1992. Previous to that he held similar positions in the field in Baltimore, Maryland; Providence, Rhode Island; Milan, Italy; and St. Louis, Missouri. He also has held academic and teaching affiliations with UAMS, University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, and Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, DC.

As an added feature, we will offer a Day at the Races, hosted at the Jockey Club on Saturday, April 30. The cost for the event, including a luncheon buffet and racing program, will be $60.00.
