2020 Convention Cancelled

Mar 13, 2020 | News & Announcements

We regret to inform you that the Annual AFDA convention, scheduled to be held April 17-18th in Hot Springs has been canceled as precautionary measure to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. Our board did not come to this decision lightly. It was initially our hope that the threat to public health would have peaked and dissipated before our convention arrives. However, given how soon it is to be held, the necessary efforts and expenses that must be committed at this time, and the vast number of unknowns, it appears to be in the best interest of all to cancel the convention.

We will immediately go to work to determine if rescheduling at a later date this year is a possibility. If you have already submitted your registration, please be patient with us and we will one by one reach you to determine if you’d prefer a refund or a credit toward a rescheduled convention. It will be a few days before we get to that step in our cancellation process. In the meantime, we will continue to serve our members. If you have any needs or questions please do not hesitate to contact AFDA.
