Robert L. Newton, Jr., 73, of Harrison, died July 22, 2016. A graduate of the Dallas Institute, his career in funeral service spanned over 50 years. He worked at Holt Memorial Chapel and Burns Funeral Home for 25 years. He also served at Brashears and Christeson Funeral Homes and Arkansas Central Mortuary Service.Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons, Tracy, Alex, and Leslie “Beaver”; and daughter, Pam Roberts.
Visitation was Tuesday, July 26 at Holt Memorial Chapel, in Harrison, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Graveside service will be at Maple Leaf Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27.
