We recently recevied word that Wanda “Jeanne” (Wilkins) Fulfer said goodbye on April 5, 2019, in Springdale, Arkansas. Jeanne was born on November 21, 1951, in Upland, California, to Kenneth and Patti Pendley Wilkins.
Jeanne graduated in 1969 from Springdale High School. She attended First Assembly of God in Springdale for 45 years, teaching Sunday School, leading the children’s ministry, directing Vacation Bible School, serving as youth director, church administrative assistant, and hosting the church Christmas banquets. She was also the Business Administrator for Shiloh Christian School in Springdale for 8 years. David and Jeanne established Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in 2008.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, David Fulfer, her parents Kenneth and Patti Wilkins, her sister Joy Wright, her brother Jim Wilkins, her brother John Wilkins, and her father-in-law Jay Fulfer.
Left to cherish Jeanne’s memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Colby and Rachel Fulfer, their daughters Abigail, Faith, and Mallory, all of Springdale; her daughter and son-in-law Amy and Mark Jones, their children Graham and Bella Jones, all of Cedar Park, Texas; her mother-in-law, LaWanda Fulfer of Springdale; her brother-in-law Larry Fulfer and his wife Roberta, both of Rogers.
Jeanne served her Lord and Savior, passionately loved her family, and ministered compassion, love, and empathy for anyone who Jesus brought to her path. Jeanne never wasted one moment of one day on herself and lived the entirety of her life with no regrets.
A private visitation was held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral services were held at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at First Assembly of God in Springdale, Arkansas. Jeanne’s final resting place is next to her husband at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas.
