Powell Funeral Homes are a family owned and operated business with locations in Bald Knob, Searcy, Augusta and Bradford serving approx. 425 families each year. Our business has been in continuous operation since the 1880’s and we have been voted “Best of the Best” Funeral Home in White County 2008-2022 (15 consecutive years). We are seeking a dual licensed or single licensed individual, preferably with at least 2 years experience, but will train the right candidate. Duties will include (but not limited to) embalming, arranging funerals with at need families, conducting funeral/memorial services, administrative procedures (such as creating DVD tributes, memorial folders, online obituaries, etc.) and all other activities that are common in the funeral home setting. Removals will be very limited. Must be willing to rotate call with current staff which will involve 2-3 nights on call each week and every other weekend.

Compensation package will be negotiated based on level of experience.
