Lance Griffin Hunter,
age 33, of Hot Springs, died Friday, March 5, 2010. Lance was born at Searcy,
December 31, 1976, the son of Gary and Cathy Pruitt Hunter. Lance was a
member of the Church of Christ. He attended Sylvan Hills High School and graduated from Searcy High School. He loved sports
of all kinds and was an avid Razorback fan. Lance had a passion for cooking and thought himself an “Iron Chef”.
He was preceded in death by grandparents; George and Wanda Hunter, R.E.
Pruitt, Jr. and D.R. Bob Powell.
Lance is survived by his wife; Christy Hunter, sons Breckin and Grayson Hunter and Morgan Howell.
Parents; Gary and Barbara Hunter of Sherwood, Cathy and David Powell Jr. of Searcy. Brothers Ryan and his wife Kim Hunter,
and Clay Hunter of Sherwood, David Powell, III of Bald Knob. Sisters; Tammy Taylor and Emily Powell of Searcy. Grandparents;
Doris Pruitt, Searcy, Juanita Powell, Bald Knob, Kenneth and Mary Anderson, Center Ridge.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 Monday. Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
