Harry E. “Bud” Corbin, Jr.
Harry E. “Bud” Corbin, Jr., 83, of Greenwood, AR passed away Thursday, June
21, 2007 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired owner of McConnell Funeral Home and the co-founder of
Pink Bud Nursing Home, member of Greenwood United Methodist Church, veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and World War II, member
of Harris-Hannah VFW Post#6527, Greenwood Lion’s Club, Greenwood Lodge #131 F & AM, Amrita Grotto and a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maurine “Babe” Corbin.
Funeral will be 1:00 pm Monday, June 25, 2007 at McConnell
Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home.
He is survived
by two sons, Ed Corbin of Greenwood, AR and Dr. Bill Corbin of Siloam Springs, AR; one daughter, Connie Payne of Fort Smith,
AR; three brothers, Jim Corbin of Greenwood, AR, Bob Corbin of Kansas City, MO and Bill Corbin of Kansas City, MO; seven grandchildren,
Kyle Corbin of Jacksonville, FL, Chris Corbin of Missoula, MT, Anna Payne of Pensacola, FL, Corbin Payne of Fayetteville,
AR, Ryan Payne of Lowell, AR, Chris Leonard of Greenwood, AR and Amanda Thompson of Van Buren, AR; three great grandchildren,
Jax and Brooks Leonard of Greenwood, AR and Gabby Thompson of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be H.B. Stewart, Glenn McDaniel, Jerry
Hendrix, J.C. Hamilton, Larry Williams and Ed Freeman.
Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 9 pm at McConnell Funeral Home where
the family will visit with friends from 4 – 6 pm.
