The Arkansas Funeral Directors Association (AFDA) would like to update you on some changes within the Association and inform you about an exciting opportunity for a Sales Club Membership.The AFDA board has created a new membership category that provides an avenue for sales club participation.  There is a rising need for greater communication among all members within the funeral industry. Being an AFDA member will give you the opportunity to talk business: network with funeral directors face to face; share ideas; and develop solutions to workplace challenges with other likeminded funeral service professionals.  This addition and a few other changes will benefit AFDA members with 6 times the exposure than as a non-member.   The cost to join is $1000.

New for 2012:1. The AFDA will be hosting a road show in place of the Mid-Winter Meeting to bring continued education to the four regions of the state. This will be a more effective way to reach out to funeral homes statewide that would not normally get the opportunity to attend the meetings. 2. We will be hosting a reception in conjunction with the Fall State Board Meeting to connect with those who are unfamiliar with the Association. 3. The 2012 AFDA State Convention will be held in Hot Springs on Friday, March 30th through Saturday, March 31st. The convention will kick off with the banquet on Friday and then we will finish on Saturday with some continued education, followed by a day at the races. 4. Your membership will also come with one complimentary registration to the convention. Additional registrants can be purchased for a small fee.  We look forward to seeing you there!

More Effective Budgeting: Paying upfront as a lump sum for all the activities gives you the ability to better budget your marketing dollars.

Increased Communication Opportunities: Receive important announcements, newsletters, regional meeting notifications and increased interaction with funeral directors from around the state.

Recognition: Sales Club members receive recognition through our convention program, AFDA Newsletter, The Director, and signage at all meetings. Members may also indicate their affiliation with AFDA in promotional materials, such as “A Sales Club Member of the AFDA.”

Support: The Sales Club membership dues will directly contribute to the AFDA’s initiative to promote excellent business practices within our industry through education and providing a network for our members to communicate.We encourage you to continue your valuable support for the Association and your own business.
